Dev Teach Day 5 - Dev Teach Retrospect

Friday, November 30, 2007 3:59 AM

In a few short hours I'll be on the plane heading back to Winnipeg, where there's almost 2 feet of snow and -30 C weather. Although I'm sad to leave Vancouver and the amazing week we've had, I'm absolutely drained and potentially burnt out from the content overload that this week provided...and that's not a bad thing.

When you go to a conference, you want to "drink from the fire hose" and leave with a want to learn what you saw and with a greater understanding of the industry that we're in. I cannot recommend Dev Teach highly enough for anyone that wants to:

- Connect with some of the brightest minds in our industry
- Be a part of an event that is dedicated to the community
- Won't hurl marketing presentations at you and act as a soapbox for product-based companies
- Drink beer with some of the brightest minds in our industry

I have alot of info that I need to think on, distill, and then blog the crap out of...so many ideas, so many experiences, so many challenges...

But for now, I have so much packing to do...

A reminder that for the Flikr stream for Dev Teach, you can view my pics here.
